Hey. Hi. Hello!
If you’re reading this, I’m probably dying. But let’s back up. I hope everyone from the US had a good Thanksgiving and didn’t have a terrible food coma. I spent it at home for a solid 24 hours before having to come back to NYC for work because that’s #retail. Part of that 24 hours was spent at my five year High School reunion, which, yes, it was as horrendous as it sounds.
I hated pretty much everyone I went to high school with save for a handful of people. But, it was nice to know that everyone who was awful to me in high school pretty much just got fat and also no one is really thriving. So there’s a brightside!
So now back to why I’m probably dying. It’s Black Friday when this is going up, which most of ya’ll probably associate with hella good sales BUT NOT ME. I have to work Black Friday this year. And let me tell you, I DON’T WANT TO WORK. I feel like it’s going to be disastrous, especially in New York. We’ll just have to wait and see for Monday if I survived.
Now, I personally may hate Black Friday, but I can’t deny that there are some hecka good deals going on. It’s also pretty much the official start of the holiday szn, which means that you’ll need to start getting your list finalized OR figure out what you want to get other people. I thought I’d help out a little, especially if you have a fitness QUEEN in your life (or king, anyone can use these products why the hell not!), and give you some gift ideas! You’re welcome.
A Workout Set
Speaking from experience, nothing makes me feel more motivated and amazing than a matching workout set (or matching underwear, am I right ladies?!). LNDR is a brand I’ve recently discovered that makes some INCREDIBLE sets that truly hold up throughout any workout, from HIIT to LISS to everything in between. But, if that price range isn’t your thing, head over to Carbon38 for 30% off using code INDULGE30 through November 26th.
The older generations may not be fully on board yet, but ya girl fucks with wearable tech. I had a FitBit for YEARS, and then upgraded to the Apple Watch. However, nothing has quite given me as many feels as my Motiv ring has. I’ve mentioned it before, but it has all the standard capabilities of a fitness tracker (heart rate, step tracking, sleep tracking), BUT IT SITS ON YOUR FINGER. It doesn’t get in the way when I’m lifting weights, running, or sleeping, unlike many of the other trackers. One charge lasts up to five days, AND IT CAN BE USED AS ANOTHER FORM OF ONLINE SECURITY.
Needless to say, I’ve full hoped on the Motiv train, and think it’s incredible for anyone. Plus, the look on people’s faces when you say your ring is a fitness tracker is priceless.
Motiv Fitness Tracker ($199)
I think this is probably a pretty cliche gift at this point, but let me just advocate a little on behalf of my friends here. I, much like any other fitness freak, NEVER thought I’d like wireless headphones, let alone the AirPods. I mean, the Apple headphones always sucked. But no, these are life changing. Wireless headphones in general are great for anyone who works out, or who wants to start, because they give you so much more freedom in the gym.
You can do jump squats, deadlifts, or hit the stairmaster without having to worry about getting tangled in wires. Wireless headphones are designed to stay in, and I’ve never had an issue with them falling out regardless of what I’m doing. Just give your friend a reminder to keep them charged!
Apple AirPods ($159)
Everyone needs a water bottle. That’s just a blanket statement. Staying hydrating is important, but especially so if you’re working out. But, sometimes people are picky about the taste of their water and will only buy the plastic bottles. Get them this instead. Larq is the first self-cleaning water bottle that also purifies water, and keeps it at your desired temperature for hours. It’s a great gym accessory, but also fantastic if you know someone who likes to get outdoors and explore. Available in 5 different colors to match anyone’s aesthetic.
Adidas Ultra boost
WE SHOULD NOT BE SURPRISED THAT THIS IS ON THE LIST. I’m not going to even say much about these shoes other than they’re amazing. They’ve gained a cult following among sneaker heads and athletes alike. The perfect gift for an avid runner, or someone who may need an extra push to get through those gym doors. They withstand hours of training, and are super cross-functional for so many different activity types. There’s so many different varities and color-ways to choose from, but personally I’d recommend the classic in the triple white, you can’t go wrong.

Hyperice Vyper 2.0 Foam Roller
Recovery after a workout is essential to make sure your body isn’t going to randomly combust. Foam rolling is a great way to recover, and the Hyperice Vyper 2.0 takes foam rolling to a completely different level. The Vyper 2.0 is a vibrating foam roller designed to help alleviate soreness quicker than traditional foam rolling would. I know so many people who have this in their gym bag or laying around their apartment and they say it’s absolutely changed their warm-up and recovery periods.

I know that scales can be controversial for some people, because no one really likes to see those numbers. But, sometimes they can be helpful. Smart scales are my favorite because rather than just giving your weight, they’ll break down your muscle mass, body fat percentange, water weight etc etc. I think they’re a great piece of gear to have in the hands of someone who’s interested in learning more about their body breakdown.
Yoga Mats are great for a yogi, but also for someone who may prefer to workout at home. Because I love smart tech, I wasn’t going to include just any old yoga mat. Instead, we’ve got the Backslash Fit Smart Yoga Mat on the list. Not only is this mat longer, more slip-resistant, and more padded than most yoga mats out there, it can also connect to your Amazon Alexa with the Women’s Health Yoga app! It’s the perfect surface or stretching out, doing some glute bridges, or learning how to hold a crow pose!
Backslash Fit Smart Mat ($89.99)
Everlywell Food Sensivity Test
Like the Smart Scale, I think this product is really great for the right person. The EverlyWell Food Sensitivity Test tests a person’s sensitivity to 96 common foods found in a modern Western diet. It’s like the 23 and Me tests, but for nutrition. For someone who’s super into leading an active or healthy lifestyle, having access to this information can be super beneficial for giving them clues into gaining or losing weight with their diets. The only downside is you can send it to anyone in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island because of reasons unknown.
Class Pass Subscription
Last but not least we have the Class Pass subscription. Class Pass gives someone access to hundreds of studio classes throughout their city, without having to sign up for a thousand and one different memberships. So many people prefer studio classes over working out alone or with a person trainer, especially if they’re just getting into their fitness journey.
While Class Pass offers a few different subscription options, they also have gift cards available that you can send to someone so that they can use that towards purchasing a subscription on their own. The subscriptions range from $45 to $125 per month, allowing the person to book between 2 – 13 classes per month.
Class Pass Gift Cards (Amount Varies)
That’s everything I’ve got for you today. Hopefully I will have survived the madness that is Black Friday long enough to see if any of these gifts will be under my own tree this year.
Until Next Time!
