Hey. Hi. Hello!
I feel like I’ve simultaneously done so much and yet nothing at all today. I think that’s the Sunday Paradox though. Like time definitely operates differently on a Sunday than it does any other day of the week. It’s some weird vaccum where you wake up and then suddenly it’s 5pm?? Yeah it’s weird man.
Anway. A while back I found out that Clarisonic isn’t classified as being cruelty free. That idea was weird to me because like I’ve always thought that only products were subjected to animal testing. Maybe that’s true, maybe some animal had to have it’s face rubbed with a Clarisonic Mia. Whatever the truth is, it sent me on a quest.
I hate washing my face with my hands. Not because I’m dirty, because I promise you I wash my hands. But, my face just feels cleaner when I’ve used my Clarisonic. Plus, I definitely think I break out less. However, now that I know Clarisonic doesn’t fit this lifestyle I’ve set out to achieve, I’ve had to go back to the drawing board. Below are all the great beauty tools I’ve found that fit the Cruelty Free bubble!
I consider this to be a godsend, because ATM Foreo is the only brand, I repeat ONLY BRAND that makes a face cleanser that is cruelty free. Like how is that possible it’s flipping 2018 here. TBQH I haven’t used it yet because I still have the last brush head to get through on my Clarisonic, but it’s on my Christmas list so come 2019 it’ll be New Year, New Face Cleanser.

Tarte Eyelash Curler
Again, who would think it would be so hard to find a cruelty-free brand that makes an eyelash curler?! That’s basically the theme of this post, so basically I would like to consider myself to be doing god’s work here. Anyway, this one is great because not only is it a GOLD eyelash curler (can you say aesthetic?!), it comes with a travel size of my favorite mascara. Win, Win.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tweezers
These tweezers are fab. Real good. Best tweezers out there. It has a slanted head that really gets in there to tweeze the hairs. But I’m not going to recommend you tweeze your eyebrows yourself, because I used to do that and it turned out terrible for so many years. HOWEVER, if you need to do some maintainence in between visits, this should be your go-to.

Urban Decay Grind House
Of all the tools here, this one has got to be the most life changing. I’ve used it for years. To be fair it breaks pretty easily so I haven’t had the same one for all those years, but it’s bene a constant in my life. It has two chambers for all your pencil sharpening needs. And boy does it sharpen. 10/10.

Herbivore Jade Facial Roller
Jade Rollers blew up in 2018. Not sure if they’re still relevant or not because I stopped using them after I broke my fourth one, but if they are here ya go. A cruelty-free way to de-puff your face in the morning.
Herbivore Jade Facial Rollers ($30.00)
Burst Whitening Strips
It’s a wild card! Whitening strips may not be considered a beauty tool, but it took me exactly so many years to find a cruelty free way to whiten my teeth. Little secret about me (that’s not so secret if you actually know me), but I have stains on my teeth that all dentists try to fix, so whitening strips are my best friend. Now that I have these, I can stop getting harrassed by my dentist to try all these new whitening treatments. Blessed.
